Hm...

The world is feeling very hectic and crazy right now! The baby is coming soon, apparently 71 days soon according to the right side of the screen. That seems really, really quick!

I guess this is hitting me all at once because we just bought a house on Thursday and we need to fix it up and the baby is coming in 71 days! Oh my, I am clearly smoking crack! I would probably feel a tad better about all of this if I could actually do some of the cleaning/fixing on the house. But my whole family has banned me from work so it is a three man crew consisting of my husband, father and mother doing all the work. I am seriously feeling guilt ridden. Grandma even gave me the third degree that I shouldn't even be going over to the house. Yes that was her exact words.

Besides the house...we also have our childbirth classes once a week starting next week and they will continue until the first week of February. We also have bio-physicals on the baby once a week for the next four weeks. Not to mention all the other doctor appointments that I have to go to! Oh the chaos, what will me and my home-body husband do!

Speaking of the baby...she is doing well! On Wednesday they told me she weighs 3lbs 1oz and that she is looking good and gaining weight properly. She also had her fetal echo cardiogram that day and her heart looks wonderful. Praise the Lord for that!

So needless to say I am looking quite forward to a nice, relaxing, laugh-filled night with my two best friends! Woo-Hoo, melting pot here we come!

I Am SO Over This!

 I am so sick and tired of my nose bleeding...at work. It would be different if I was in the comfort of my own home but the damn thing keeps bleeding at work. Maybe I am allergic and should no longer be working...hmm. It bled for thirty minutes today...yes I said thirty minutes. This has been the longest on record for my nosebleed season. Grandma did beat me the other day with her impeccable hour and a half nosebleed. You may be noticing where I get this from, *cough* Grandma, it is her fault I've decided.

After about ten minutes I decided I should go to the nurses office (lest I pass out)  and it then continued to bleed for another 20 minutes, lucky me. Now I have a headache and blood on my shirt. Doesn't a nosebleed qualify you to go home and take it easy?

Me thinks it should!

Grandma: Are you going to put that on your TV thing, or whatever it's called.

Translation: Are you going to write that on your (blog) computer.

This one was just too funny not to post! I had said to my mom and grandma that I wanted to write about something and Grandma came out with this one. She is so cute!

Beatings...

Friday, I went over my mom's house after work. My nieces were there and Makayla was climbing all over me and talking a mile a minute. We were playing together and she was getting kind of loud. We must have told her a thousand times to quiet down. Finally we told her "if you don't quiet down Grandma is going to come in here and beat you."  Just then Grandma opens the door. I told Mak, "see I told you." Grandma said "what?" We explained what we just told her and she says....

"If she got all the beatings she is promised she wouldn't be able to walk."

 This was of course followed by a roar of laughter.

*No we do not beat children that is just the word we use.  :-D

Grandma-isms

"I wouldn't marry another man, if he had a golden dick and a diamond up his ass."

Grandma has said this for as long as I can remember.  I think she is hilarious so I will try to regularly post grandma quotes.
