Carter, Now Sugar-Free!

Ugh, that's where I'm at right now.

I've heard it all when it comes to my sweet boy and I'm beginning to think I should rename him Handful or Pistol or Something Else since that is how he's most often described. The descriptions annoy and frustrate me. My son is not bad or mean. And I don't appreciate grown adults saying that in front of him or about him in front of their children. He's a two-year old boy who is extremely active and entirely too smart for his own good.

I've been praying a lot more lately about my Buddy. Along with prayer I've been scouring the Internets and giving quite a bit of thought on how to help Carter with self-control, hyper-ness and occasionally hitting (hangs-head-in-shame).

I feel like I'm a reasonably intelligent and logical person and I see that discipline (we've tried every different way) does not seem to faze my boy in the slightest. I am also smart enough to realize that no one is perfect and I am speaking to myself when I say that. I've been reading about ADHD. It runs in Tom's family so I know there is a very strong chance that he may have it too. I also tell myself he's two years old, he's supposed to be hyper. Then I begin to wonder, when is it too much? At what point do you call the pediatrician in to have him evaluated?

My internal Mama Bear is telling me something might be "wrong." On the flip side the one thing I haven't tried is eliminating sugars. This has become my next step. I've taken down tons of notes, installed new child-proofing devices around the house and I'm ready to give this a good fight. I've been very deliberate and repetitive in my new discipline routine. I've also added a supplement of Omega-3 Fatty Acids. My fingers are crossed as we venture into discovering what triggers my sweet angel to seemingly go crazy.

For Serious?

The other night Mom and I were out running errands. We left Home Depot and headed to the dollar store. By this time Carter was getting hungry so I freed Hannah from her car seat and grabbed Carter out of his. I sat back down and changed his diaper, just as I began nursing him (in the car mind you) Hannah starts to take her diaper off too. I didn't want to stop feeding him and after a few times of telling her not to take her diaper off, I figured all would be well until he was done eating. Just then as my little princess is standing in the passenger seat I hear, "Pee." "What did you say baby?" Pee!" "Let Mama see." "Pee!" You guessed it folks, she peed right there on the seat of my two month old van and I was trapped in the other seat with a baby on my boob, trapped like a rat. I managed with my one free arm to find tissues and wipe up the pee. I asked Han to stand on the floor mats, which she did, incase she needed to pee more before I could diaper her. Thankfully my mom came back just as I was done sopping up my pee seat!

Lesson learned for the day: Never trust a two-year old with no diaper on.

An Interesting Week

Monday, Tom had gone to have his vasectomy consultation, he's pretty adamant about getting snipped. We talked it over and part of  me is okay with it and part of me still feels unsure. He is totally sure, so much so that he is going a couple of days after his birthday to have it done.

Yesterday was a debacle, Tom and I went to my last OB appointment and then afterwards we went to the last ultrasound appointment together. The OB went great, we are both ready for the C on Monday. The ultrasound was just obnoxious. Everything was fine, heart rate was good. Carter was doing his practice breathing  the whole time. Then it was time to look for the body movements and he was sound asleep. He didn't kick or punch or wriggle his body, he was out like a light. I was perfectly fine with this but the policy is that if after 30 minutes the baby doesn't move they then put you on a fetal monitor. So 30 minutes comes and goes with no movements. She puts me on the monitor and as soon as she shut the door he started going berserk! My stomach was visibly moving, I could feel him kicking and wriggling around. It was almost comical. Then he moved off of the monitor and she comes back in. He again does not move a muscle, it's like he knew the woman was there and he did not care for her one bit! After an hour of being there we finally got the all clear to go home.

Later that night we headed to Babies R Us and Hannah cried through the entire store. I couldn't concentrate on looking at anything so I got what I could remember and we headed home. I swear she knows the baby is coming. She has really been wanting held A LOT lately and by me only. She has also been crying a lot more over anything. She doesn't give a warning just starts crying about whatever it is that she wants. I guess she's trying to get all the attention now before she has to share it with another!

Busy, Busy, Busy

There is so much is going on right now. It is a tad overwhelming!

Mom is out of the hospital. They released her today and she is really feeling a lot better! Ended up she had a blood clot that was not allowing her urine to come out properly. This then caused a back-up into her kidney, the doctor put a stint in between her kidney and bladder which then released the trapped urine and blood. Unfortunately, the stintis painful and will be in there for at least a month if not more. Other than that she is feeling pretty good. They even gave her a pint of blood while she was there and that seems to have helped dramatically.

We are currently buying our house...finally! My parents currently own it. When we sold our house in November we were already living here since about April and just never got our butts in gear. Now with the interest rates so low we figuered we better get it together before they get out of control again. I realize now why my feet were dragging...the whole process is a huge pain in the butt! The things you forget in-between buying houses, so annoying.

Hannah is doing well, she seems to be talking a lot more. She can say Mammie (my mom), Molly (the dog), Uh-oh, Mama or Mum, Daddy, So big, Hi, Bye and the list goes on. It is amazing how you will say something and she will rattle it back only it's a little hard to understand but at least she is trying. It is just amazing watching her grow.

The baby is doing well, I can feel him kick quite often. I am suspicious that boys move/kick way more than girls. I don't remember Hannah moving near as much as Carter does. I can't wait to meet him, I only have about three more months left! Can you believe it?

Work is overwhelmingly busy. I was put in charge of a new project/function and most days I am ready to leave and never come back. The reality is I work 9-10 hour days and am exhausted and want to go to bed at 8:30. I actually had to put a sign up on Tuesday that I would be unable to answer questions until 12:30 and to hold all questions until that time. Most of my co-workers thought it was hilarious, the question-askers got there feelings hurt. Oh well, first time I had done it and I think it got the point across to stop coming to my desk every 10 minutes with a different form of the same question. I wonder if some people even try to problem solve on their own!

My niece is getting so big! She is six this year and just started First Grade! So exciting for her! She is such a sweet little girl, she had super long hair that was down to her butt or further and gave 10 inches away to locks of love. It is amazing how sweet and caring she is.

Her sister who is two just started dance class, this should lead to some interesting stories. She is a very stubborn little girl so I can just imagine how she is doing. She is really quite the comical little one!

We are working on the house again bit by bit. Hopefully we will get to tileing my basement landing this weekend. We started to do it last weekend and didn't have enough tile. Don't ask me how we did that, we have probably had this tile for over a year and all this time we didn't have enough! We are also going to start on the baby's room as soon as we get the window we ordered. It most likely will not be in until September 25th. As soon as that is in we can start painting the walls. I am so excited!

An Ultrasound Day

Here is my little guy, he is doing well. Everything measured well and whatever was going on with the blood flow to my uterus seems to have cleared up because she said it looked fine today. He weighed about 1lb and 5ozs.

SHUT UP! and STOP IT!

This is what I heard all day from none other that my sweet little baby girl, humph! Mean as a snake she is.

At first I quietly laughed to myself. Little kids saying inappropriate things in the right context gets me every time. I know, real mature on my part. She was saying it sassy towards Tom and I, yelling it really because she always seems to be yelling about something. Then after her bath someone had knocked on the door. I was trying to lotion her and get her PJ's on when the dog starts barking at the mysterious knocker. I refrained from yelling shut up to the dog since Hannah would hear me and start saying it more. Well it didn't take long for her to yell down at the dog from my bedroom, "SHUT UP!" Then proceeded to tell the dog to shut up about twenty more times. It was pretty funny, of course I did discipline her because I don't want her yelling shut up and stop it to everyone she sees.

Later that night I called my Mom and asked her if Dad said shut up or stop it to Hannah while she was there Sunday night and Monday morning. She immediately starts to laugh because she can see where I am going with this. Of course my Dad denied saying it but I'm still suspicious. I have heard her tell her to "Shut it up" or the "Shut up that wailing." I'm on to him, lol!

"Stop it" I know she got from Tom and I because she hears that and "No" about 47,000 times a day to no avail. She honestly doesn't listen at all to discipline. She'll cry for a minute or so and after that she'll go right back to doing it. I've tried swatting her butt, swatting her hand, time out, removing her from the area. She will not be fazed. I was advised to pinch her inner thigh but that makes me kind of nervous. I absolutely hate being pinched and can't quite bring myself to do that to her. Part of me says it is just her age and she'll listen better when she gets older. Is this true for the most part or am I being a bit of a softy? What are things that you have tried with your kids? I am up for any input on what has worked for other people out there.

Thursday 5/21/2009

The baby is doing very well! The heart rate was 185. Today was cool, you could see the head, legs and umbilical cord. While we were looking in on him you could see him wiggling around and kicking his leg! So magical!

Picture 003-edit

Yolk sac is the white ball with the black circle. Next to that you can see the bottom portion of the body. The umbilical cord is leading down. Head is to the far right-furthest from the yolk sac. The leg is right on top of the umbilical cord. Measured 8 weeks 5 days.

For The Birds

It's official, I have morning sickness. Never experienced it with Hannah and this time around had been no different. Until this week...

I started taking high blood pressure medicine on Tuesday and ever since I have been sick in the mornings. I thought it was the medicine but it didn't happen at night when I took the second pill. Then just to try it out I hadn't planned on taking the medicine until later in the day. No such luck, the sickness kicked in about thirty minutes after I woke up.

Clearly I was not missing out on anything first pregnancy around. Maybe this time I am having a boy?

Thursday 5/7/2009

I had a very good appointment today! Everything is looking great and all of my blood work is really good! My hemoglobin A1C is a 5.6 which is super good!

I got to see the baby's heartbeat today! It was a moment of shear joy! I could also tell he had gotten much bigger since last week. He is starting to take shape!

The heartbeat was 124!

Here is a pic of the little guy:

Picture 002-edit

I am measuring six weeks three days, giving me a new due date of 12/29/2009. This date is the official date and should not change in the future.

I do have to say this, I had to get an exam today while I was there. I hadn't had an exam with them since 2007. So they have me get undressed and put the gown on. Clearly this gown was Hannah's size. It was squeezing my fat little arms and it literally half covered the front of me. Ridiculous. It reminded me of Chris Farley and David Spade in Tommy Boy, "Fat guy in a little coat." I survived it but if memory serves me I think these people gave me a tiny little gown last time too!

Thursday 4/30/2009

Last week's appointment went very well! Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me!

All of my blood work looks really good and the RE will continue to monitor me until I am 12 weeks. They estimated that I was about five weeks last week. My estimated due date is 12-20-2009. The lady that did my ultrasound sound said that may increase by a few days since it does look like I am five weeks and they will be able to measure the embryo next Thursday (the 7th).

The lady also hoped that we would be able to see the heartbeat this week! YAY!

Unfortunately, Tom is with Hannah so he hasn't been able to come to the ultrasounds with me and I don't think we will be coming to any.  :-(   At least that is how it looks so far.

Here is the little bean at five weeks:

I don't see two sacs in there so I am going to assume we dodged the twin bullet!  ;-)

Looking UP!

Finally got a call back today about my blood-work from Monday. My progesterone is way up thanks to the Prometrium! Went from 7 on Thursday with no meds to 36 on Monday! YAY!

They have me taking two pills in the morning, one pill mid-day and two pills at night. I'm quite thankful that it is working well!

I will be monitored by the RE until I am at 12 weeks. My first ultrasound will be Thursday at 9:00! I am super excited!!!

I have been uber paranoid about having twins this pregnancy. On my dad's side of the family there are three sets of twins. My grandmother had twins, her sister had twins and one of my cousins has also had twins so far. There is a pattern though. Your first baby is a single child and then the second time you get pregnant it is twins. So this will be my possible shot at having twins, lol! If this were to happen I would have a heart-attack, seriously!

So far my one best friend has decided that I am not having twins but that I am going to have another girl. My other best friend has decided that I am having a boy. My MIL has decided that I am having twins one boy and one girl. Since I have not yet fine tuned my psychic abilities I am unable to predict at this time what I will be having! Really I think I need someone to pinch me because I still am in shock. I was darn grateful to have been blessed with Hannah and to have another one on the way just seems so unreal. Maybe it will sink in when I see with my own eyes Thursday.

Fat? Homely? Poor? Oh My!

Last Thursday as I wrapped up my shopping trip in Walmart accompanied by Hannie and my one of my BF's. I am getting rung up by the cashier and as she swipes my formula can she says:

Cashier: Do you have your WIC card?

Me: What?

C: If you have your WIC card you can get your formula for free.

Me: I make too much money to qualify for WIC.

C: Oh okay.

Later on as I am riding back to my friends house I got to thinking. Do I look poor? Then we both enjoyed a good laugh at that WTF moment in the Ghetto-Mart.

Next day, I went to have my blood work done for the Diabetes Center. Please note Diabetes Center.

Lab Tech: Why are you bouncing that baby?

Me: Just 'cause.

LT: Well stop it. If you keep doing that she won't understand the difference when you do it when she is upset.

She rambled on more about this topic and then stopped. Okay as unwanted as her advice is I can see her logic.

A few seconds later:

LT: Do you have diabetes?

Me: I had Type 2 before I was pregnant and now they are telling me that I am in a pre-diabetic state.

LT: That's weird, I have never heard of that

LT: Let me tell you a secret

Me: (Oh dear Lord what now) What's that

LT: Gastric bypass cures diabetes

Me: Oh (Thinking to myself no she didn't)

LT: My sister had it and girl let me tell you she is so skinny and she is a baby making machine!

Me: Good for her

LT: You should get it, insurance will pay for it just like that (snaps fingers)

Me: Oh, hmm (How freaking rude!)

LT: My sister she so fertile she had to terminate three of her pregnancies, she just kept getting pregnant and finally they told her she had to get her tubes tied.

Me: Mmm

What the heck! I do not want to hear about your sister's abortion, I do not want to hear about her diabetes and I don't want your skinny ass telling me to get Gastric Bypass! Mind your own business!

She also informed me that she knows how hard it is to lose weight because she has been trying very hard to lose ten pounds since last year and she just can't seem to do it. "She is just not movitvated enough to get up and exercise."

I wanted to tell her that is so sad for her it must be hard to be a size four and ten pounds over weight, how does she possibly manage to get out of bed every morning.

But I didn't and I never do say anything rude back to people even when they are rude to me. I guess my parents raised me better than that.

The Great Skunking of '08

It happened yet again to that stupid lovable creature we call Bo.

Around midnight last night I was just getting out of the shower and straightening around the house and the phone rings,

Mom: Did your father cook something and burn it?

Me: I don't know I haven't gone down there tonight.

Mom: Well it smells like burnt garlic or something, it's horrible. Can you come over and smell, I'll come down and watch the baby.

Me: Okay

So I finish up drying and putting away the dishes and Mom comes in.

Me: Oh my God, you smell like skunk!

Mom: Do I?

Me: Yes, all I smell is skunk.

Mom: Well can you go down there and smell with an open mind?

So I traipse down the street in my pajamas to go and smell what the smell is in my mom's house. As I am walking down, Jack the Cat jumps out of nowhere and tries to kill me. Okay he didn't try to kill me but he scared the hell out of me. Jack and I continued our journey to my parents together. I get to the end of the driveway and I can smell the skunk, I thought to myself this will not end well. So I got to the front door and was expecting a skunk to jump out at me at any moment, that's how potent it was. I open the door, the cat flies in the house and the smell of skunk hits me in the face like a ton of bricks. It was almost as bad as pepper spray. I walk immediately to Bo's room and he is right there ready to greet me. I said Bo-dy and gave him a good whiff! Phh! That is the source of the problem!

I made a u-turn and hauled my butt back home. I told my mom:

It's Bo, he got skunked and carried the smell in with him!

Mom: Eww, now you smell like skunk!

Me: You better go home and wash the dog(s) and start scrubbing the floors.

Mom: Expletive Dog, expletive, expletive.

Me: I didn't see a skunk carcass so you might want to check to see where that is.

Mom: I swear to God if a skunk jumps out at me I am going to beat that dog over the head with it!

So needless to say, I took shower number two for the night and then washed my clothes so that the skunk smell was not stinking up my house. My poor mom went home and washed the dog and everything he touched and don't you know the next morning it still smelled horrible!

We all went to Denny's the next day and afterwards I went home and my parents went home to continue the scrubbing. Later that night I went down to get something from my mom's house and it didn't smell near as bad. It was just a faint odor of skunk. By Sunday it should be completely gone.

As a background on the dogs, the are kept seperate, they are chow-chow's and fight something horrible if they get together. One is kept in one room and the other is kept in it's own room. They both have access to the backyard through sliding glass doors. The backyard is separated so that they can not get together out there. Typically there doors are left open all the time. My mom works second shift and my dad is usually travelling with work. My mom went to work yesterday and my dad came home before he had to go to work late that friday night. Well my father in all of his brilliance leaves the sliders open and proceeds to go to work. Therefore Bo gladly went out, fought or killed a skunk and then proceeded to drag the stench in with him because no one was there to witness the evening events. So my mom after working all night comes home to find skunk-a-pa-looza in her house. Fun times!

This is the second time this dog had done this, but last time he killed the skunk.

Nursing No More...

Last week I stopped pumping and nursing altogether. The baby was not wanting to nurse good ever since I went back to work, she seemed to become lazy and only wanted the bottle. Then when I pumped I got the most minuscule amount of milk, I used to get an ounce per boob then it got less and less. It was so low that last week when I would pump I only got about an eighth of an ounce. That's when I knew it was time to call it quits. As a result I have been really sad lately. Like, start crying for no apparent reason sad. I tried to tell Tom how I had been feeling today but he doesn't understand I guess. Gosh, even right now I'm starting to tear up.

I'm assuming that I am going through some hormonal change to add to the guilt of no longer breast feeding. I never thought it would be so hard. Everyone says you have no problem nursing and I think that is a bunch of crap. It rates right up there with having no problem getting pregnant! Ha!

I guess I better hit the hay, I have a long day of work ahead of me.

Pump It Up

Well breastpumping is a rewarding challenge. It allows me the freedom to go without the baby when necessary but damn is it hard to get a good amount of milk stored. When I pump I get an ounce out of one side right off the bat. The other side however, does not let out any milk. I don't know if it is something that I am doing but it doesn't appear to be letting out any milk. So I basically will get an ounce every time I pump. Not sure if that is a good amount but I am hoping that with time it will produce more and maybe the one boob will cooperate and put out some milk.

I am really quite mind boggled as to why my one boob will not cooperate I do everything the same as I did on the other side, I have even tried a few different things but nothing happens.

Clearly I am going to need some sort of assistance from my mother in this matter. Or at least she can see that I am not crazy if it doesn't work while she is around!

My Grandmother who is clearly off her rocker came up with this lovely-ness this week while talking to my mom: "I just don't know about this breastfeeding, I could never do it with yuns." (Referring to my mom, aunt and uncle.) Then are you ready for this? "It must be because you and Heather have big nipples."

Excuse ME!?

When my mom told me this I was really quite shocked, then I wonder how she would ever possibly know what my nipple looked like. Then I laughed, because she is old and senile. God bless her but she is coming up with the craziest things lately. Grandma would really be a post all to herself, because ever since Grandpa died so has her mind and at times it is extremely frustrating to deal with her.

If anyone has any pumping tips please feel free to leave them.

Birth Control.

It really doesn't even belong in my vocabulary.

I decided long ago that birth control was the devil and screwed my body up. No doctor has ever given me reason to think this but I do. I haven't been on birth control now for five years. (Wow as a side note, I never stopped to realize I haven't taken birth control for five years, that is a long time!) I stopped taking it a year before I got married, the year I found out I had PCOS. Taking birth control after learning I had PCOS seemed pointless to me so I just stopped taking it.

But, since I did somehow manage by the grace of God to get knocked up without the use of fertility drugs, I better do something to prevent a possible second pregnancy right away.

With that being said I resigned myself to the fact that *gasp*condoms would need to be used. Gross. I've never been a big fan of condoms and after talking it over with a girlfriend she agreed that she also hated them, which oddly enough made me feel a lot better. So I drug myself to the drug store, baby in tow, and headed towards the condom aisle. For a second I felt like a high school-er sneaking off to buy condoms. I probably stood there a good fifteen minutes staring at all the different varieties. It was a tad overwhelming. I finally made my selection and sat the evil condoms in the cart, next to Hannah. I laughed at the irony of that situation, me with a baby and who'd have thunk I now have to use condoms (you know, just in case. HA!).

I guess it is better to be safe than sorry, I am all for having more kids but I would just like to wait until Hannah is bigger, like two years old bigger. Maybe God will bless us with more children, maybe He won't. But I don't want to be that person, you know the one that gets pregnant as soon as she has her baby. That my friends would be so not cool!

The Beginning of the Next Three Months

Today was my official last day at work! Wa-hoo!

I took four vacation days prior to the induction because I wanted to. I don't really have anything to do that I can think of. I might just straighten the house up a bit, hang out at the mall and finish up doctor's appointments. Good times! Once I have the baby I will be put on maternity leave and I don't have to go back to work for three months (12 weeks)! So far it seems strange. I have worked there for five years and have never been on a leave of absence or anything over two weeks at one time...This may take some getting used to.

I was actually a little sad when I left! As unbelievable as I thought that would be...I even got a little weepy in the car. The same thing happened last Friday when I went to the Diabetes doctor. When I left I had this overwhelming feeling of sadness...I guess it's that whole things coming to an end. I'm feeling much better (for) now.

Tomorrow will be my last ultrasound/bio-physical and we will find out how big the baby is! I made a bet with Tom that she will be 7.2 and of course he tried to price's-right me and make his bid at 7.4. He's a sneaky one. I'll probably be closer because the OB said she is about 7lbs. There probably won't be a good pic of her tomorrow. Now that her bones are hardening it creates dark shadows and makes it near impossible to get a clear picture.

I guess I'm done rambling now

Feeling Better!?!

I am feeling a little better from the other day when I was in full fledged diabetes panic mode. The Diabetes Center made some changes today when I faxed my (blood sugar) numbers in and so far so good!

I am just feeling really, really stressed! I hate, hate, hate having that 'nothing you can do will change anything' feeling. Perhaps I am a huge slight control freak?

Like the house is coming along fairly well but there is really nothing I can do to help. My diabetes is a complete act of nature, I was way more physically active and ate next to no sweets and it didn't phase my diabetes this weekend so that is super frustrating.

But, the diabetes is back under control as we speak so I hope it stays that way! The house is coming along as fast as it can. My husband and dad fixed the ceiling this weekend and I think it just needs a little more spackle and sanding before they can paint it. The bathroom is getting there. Dad did the plumbing for the bathtub and then we are going to put down tile, paint and install the new toilet and vanity and that will be done. I think the bedrooms just need painted and flooring installed...I think. This house is just like what you would see on TLC's Flip That House. I kid you not, you start one thing and it opens another can of worms!

So if anyone wants to come over and lend a hand you are more than welcome! We'll even buy the pizza!

Third Trimester...Finally

Today is the official day that I am seven months! WooHoo!

I am ever so slightly terrified as everyone around me seems to be giving birth early and I don't really want to catch that fever if you know what I mean. Even the waitress at Apple-bees shared the story of her daughter going three and a half months early and the baby was born a little over a pound. My mind was once again filled with that panic-y fear! My friend at work was due in January and just had her baby this past week! She was thankfully born a little over five pounds so she didn't have to go to the NICU. If anyone else goes into labor early I will be begging for bed rest just to be on the safe side. Seriously, I have come this far and don't want any problems.

Now is apparently the time when everyone starts to offer advice and ask if you are "ready for the baby." I at heart am ready for the baby because I want to hold her and do everything that comes with a baby. In reality no I am not ready! We do not have a room set up for her and don't plan on putting one in this house. We figured it easier just to wait until we go to settlement and do her room first. I also have not had a baby shower and that is were the majority of baby paraphernalia comes from...am I right? So until that happens no I am "not ready," but I am ready at heart!

The advice should be another post but I will share a brief story while getting my eyebrows waxed on Friday. Lynda my eyebrow chick asked if I would be nursing, I said yes and she did what everyone does when they hear that a 23 year old is going to breastfeed. She gave me the "Ohhhh really?" Then to catch herself she added a "That is good to hear, I breastfed all of my children." I knew it was coming it was lingering in the air, the advice was sure to follow and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. She proudly declared "Make sure to start twisting those nipples now because let me tell you it hurts!" That was off the TMI rector scale that I did not need to know about the eyebrow lady. She then proceeds to inform me of how it ruins your breast, etc, etc. I had to shut her down quickly as this was getting too uncomfortable for even me. I kindly explained that my mother used to be a counselor for nursing mothers and she is going to be helping me with everything. That was the end of that.

The eyebrow lady also told me I was waiting too late to do my childbirth classes. I called the hospital in October and the woman there scheduled it for January so that is really not my problem.

I am oh so grateful that this year during Christmas at Tom's Aunt's House I will not have to hear: "When are you two going to have kids." Followed by me stuttering and stammering because I really felt like saying f'you we've been trying for three years. I would eventually mumble a "We'll see" and left it at that. This year I will be proudly boasting my seven month belly thankful I will never have to hear that dreaded sentence again so long as I live.

Good luck to everyone still struggling on the desperate train of infertility I know it is hard during the holidays but I hope that next year holds a better outcome for all of you!
