Hold the Bananas....
Everyone (my husband and myself included) call Hannie: Hannah Banana. Well the first time I gave her bananas I thought she had turned awfully red on certain areas of her face. I tried the bananas again and the same thing happened and she developed little bumps on her skin.
So I guess there will not be anymore bananas in her future, who would imagine the child to be allergic to bananas.
Oh no! Maybe she'll out grow it and you can introduce them again later? Personally, I hate bananas. I would be more than happy to claim that I'm allergic! :)
ReplyDeleteAt least it was just a minor reaction but definitely ironic that Hannah is allergic to bananas. Try some avocado instead. Princess LOVED and still loves avocados.

ReplyDeleteFYI - If she is allergic to bananas be careful of latex (like exam gloves and bandaids). A banana allergy is the one true indicator that someone may be allergic to latex as well since the same protein can be involved.
