'Tis The Season-Updated

We finally bought a real Chistmas tree! Tom grew up with the real variety, I with the fake. It doesn't really bother me that we never had a real tree but Tom could not stand it! So this year we got a real tree and retired the "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree.

I must admit, I am enjoying the smell of the real and it is a pretty nice tree to look at.

Here she goes:

We should have it decorated sometime this week, if all goes well!

Update:

With minimal amount of cussing we got the tree decorated!  ;-)

  4. I have to agree with MO. It is too early for a tree. But the 15th of december all the needles will fall off and you will have a tree that looks like mary kate olsen.

  6. i don't know how these people take care of their trees, but if you water it consistantly, (as you do with ALL live plants) it will last you well into the new year. My family has only ever had a real tree and we've only ever had one die on us.(in 26 years) That ain't bad!
